Microsoft Outlook is an email service from Microsoft. It was renamed from Hotmail to Outlook. It includes various features like calendar, note-taking journal, task and contact manager etc.
Later on, the Microsoft released mobile apps for several platforms like iOS, Android. Umpteenth no of version have been released by the Microsoft till date.

Initially released in1989 by IBM group with the name Lotus notes. Later on went on to rename as IBM Notes. It provides various functionalities such as email, contacts managements, to-do list, file-sharing, blogging.
